Best Cellars

There is an awesome wine shop on the Upper East Side that I love to pop into when I'm up that way - Best Cellars. They have perfected a system of classifying strictly edited wines - all under $15! Here are some of the best in each of their categories:

"Fresh" - San Camillus Pinot Grigio (Italy) - $11
"Soft" - Bradgate Chenin Savingnon Blanc (South Africa) - $10
"Luscious" - Santa Julia Viognier (Argentina) - $11
"Smooth" - Hope Estate 'Wollemi' Shiraz (Australia) $15

They also offer a wine quiz to find out what kind of wine you would most like based on answers to questions like "how do you like your tea" and "what kind of water do you like." There's even a wine diary on the site for you to keep track of what you like and when you had it last.

Can't make it to the UES? If you live in DC, MA, or VA they'll ship to you. They're also now being featured on Jet Blue - look for them on your next flight!
